László Palkovics, Minister of State for Education had an official visit in Stockholm between 14-15 June, 2017 to be informed about the latest Swedish developments in autonomous vehicle technology and the related political decisions as well as to discuss the Hungarian Zone test track investment for autonomous vehicles. In the course of his visit he met with State Secretary Mattias Landgren and they agreed that the technology developments must be supported with common European regulations. On the meeting with the director of the Swedish Asta Zero test track and the representative of RISE Research Institute of Sweden the collaboration prospects were reviewed. László Palkovics also held a lecture to the representatives of the Swedish governemnt, academy and industry about the Hungarian investments. Furthermore, he was having bilateral meetings with the autonomous vehicle technology departments’ associates of Ericsson and Combitech about cooperation plans.
