Our Embassy endeavors to build strong partnership with the Swedish companies interested in Hungarian investments. The initiative of Doing Business in Hungary Network – Sweden aims at strengthening cooperation, providing regular information and exchange experiences among the partners.
On 19 September 2019 more than 30 Swedish companies with production sites or R&D facilities in Hungary participated in the launching event which took place at our Embassy. Besides representatives of the big companies like Ericsson, Autoliv, Atlas Copco, Saab and Haldex, representatives of the Swedish Government and business associations also attended our reception. Deputy CEO of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency, Ms Tünde Kis presented the results of the Hungarian economic policy and the investment promotion, the key sectors in Hungary as well as the investment promotion scheme for attracting foreign investments to our country. It was wonderful to hear that the Swedish companies regard Hungary as a reliable partner, they appreciate the performance of their daughter companies in Hungary and are open for deepening the discussion about a strengthened cooperation.
