On the evening of April 18, 2026, between 6:00 p.m. and midnight, we held three highly successful, sold-out events at the Hungarian Embassy.

In collaboration with the National Talent Center, three fantastic young talents—Anna Leona Albert (folk singer), Anikó Barna (zither and koboz player), and Anna Blanka Regenhart (cellist)—gave a concert that completely enchanted the audience. The mentees of the Talentum Hungaricum program performed authentic Hungarian folk music, as well as melodies from the Balkans and neighboring peoples, in a zither-and-voice duo, reflecting the diversity of Bartók’s collecting work. In a trio configuration—zither, voice, and cello—Bartók’s violin duets were brought to life, complemented by their folk music counterparts. During their performance, a piece by Sándor Szokolay was also played on solo cello, enriching the concert with virtuoso and lyrical moments.

Following the concert, we invited guests to enjoy Hungarian snacks and casual conversation.

As part of the Night of Culture program, we also welcomed visitors with an outdoor exhibition created by embassy staff showcasing Hungary’s picturesque landscapes and UNESCO World Heritage sites, with the aim of promoting the country’s most enchanting landscapes, historic cities, and natural wonders to the Swedish public. The exhibition will be on view from April 15, 2026, through the end of June 2026, along the fence of our embassy, which is located on a popular walking route in Sweden.
