The “Hungarian Theatre in Stockholm” initiative is committed to bring the best theatre experiences from Hungary to audiences in Stockholm. Our Embassy is happy to support such a project, which aims to introduce quality entertainment to the Swedish cultural scene. As the first collaboration between the “Hungarian Theater in Stockholm” and the Embassy of Hungary, The Caretaker by Harold Pinter was performed twice to a full-house audience at Teater Tre on 13th October 2018. Three of Hungary’s well-known actors, Zoltán Mucsi, Péter Scherer and László Katona from the "Szkéné" Theatre gave an unforgettable performance, which was made special by the fact that this was the 76th and final performance of this play, directed by Máté Szabó. We would also like to applaud Katalin Bellaagh, the soul of this initiative, for her enthusiasm and tireless work.
