The Embassy of Hungary in Sweden, together with the Federation of Hungarians in Sweden commemorated the 1848-49 revolution and war of independence.
At the national day reception Ambassador Lilla Makkay and Ferenc Sántha from the Federation of Hungarians in Sweden held speeches followed by a program of the Hungarian Chamber Choir and a concert of Andrea Jőrös opera singer and Gábor Alszászy pianist.
After the cultural program our guests were invited to taste traditional Hungarian dishes and wines.
