During its nearly 120-year-old history, Hungarian cinematography has always been considered to be among the best in the world. April 30th marks the Day of Hungarian Film, commemorating the 1901 premiere of the first ever Hungarian film, A táncz (The Dance) directed by Béla Zsitkovszky. On this occasion movie-goers could watch the popular action comedy Valami Amerika 3 (A Kind of America 3) starring Csaba Pindroch, Győző Szabó and Ferenc Hujber. The story follows three brothers who end up in prison and have to put a successful musical on stage with a cast of prison inmates only. The movie was screened to a full-house audience in Cinema Zita in Stockholm.
