Ambassador Adrien Müller paid a visit to Scania headquarters in Södertälje on 29 January and met Pierre Bousquet, the head of sales responsible for the Central and Southern European countries. Scania have 50.000 employees worldwide and only in Södertälje the company employs 17.000 people both in R&D as well as in the production. In the factory in Södertälje 65-75 trucks and busses are assembled per day. Scania have 168 employees in Hungary working in 6 workshops around the country.
Ambassador Müller and the representative of Scania discussed the potentials in the presence of Scania in Hungary. During the visit we got an insight into the production process of the company as well as tried some of the vehicles in a test drive.
