Dr. Adrien Müller, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary accredited in Sweden presented her credentials to King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden on 9 November 2017. 

 

 

The handing over of the letter of credence is a ceremonial occasion. The ambassador arrives from the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs to the Royal Palace in a horse-drawn carriage, where she hands over the letter of credence to the King during a short private audience. 

 

 

From the Royal Court the ambassador was escorted by Master of Ceremonies Bengt Lundborg, who had served as Ambassador of Sweden to Hungary previously. At the ceremony the ambassador was accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission Péter Győri, Economic and Trade Attaché Zita Fáskerti, Consul Balázs S. Szabó and Defence, Military and Air Attaché Nándor Kilián.

 

 

After the ceremony, the ambassador welcomed the embassy’s distinguished partners from the political, economic and cultural life of Sweden to a Vin d’Honneur at her residence.
