On 3 June 2019 our Embassy participated in the International Traditional Fashion Show at the wonderful concert hall of Musikaliska. At the event, organized by the Diplomatic Spouses Club of Stockholm, more than 40 countries presented their national traditional attires.
Hungarian models appeared on stage in fancy dresses from Rábaköz, Kazár, Rimóc and Kalotaszeg. We emphasised the rich and diverse tradition of the Hungarian attires as well as the importance of maintaining the Hungarian folkdance and folkmusic traditions. We thank Attila Mészáros for the wonderful original attires as well as his help and expertise in organizing our participation and our models for their enthusiasm.
