State Secretary Dr Attila Becskeházi who is responsible for the infrastructural development of Paks 2 nuclear power plant had consultations in Sweden between 27-31 May on the education of the operators of Swedish nuclear power plants.
The Hungarian delegation met the expert responsible for the nuclear safety from the Swedish Ministry for Environment and Energy, the executive vice president for business generation of Vattenfall state owned energy company and visited the Nuclear Education and Safety Center (KSU) as well as Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant. The delegation learned about the simulators and about the digital and virtual reality devices which help the education of the operators. The possibility of further cooperation between Sweden and Hungary on this field was also discussed.
