Sweden’s largest manufacturing company, the Volvo Group held a supplier day on 16 October. The event which was organized by our Embassy took place at the side of the Automotive Hungary fair in Budapest. It was the first time that Volvo Group made an in-depth screening of the Hungarian supplier capacity which they found very successful and promising. The delegation was led by Andrea Fuder, Chief Purchasing Officer of Volvo Group.

 

 

More than 60 Hungarian SMEs participated in the forum, 20 of them had an opportunity to present their products in a B2B meeting to the purchasers of Volvo Group.

Robert Ésik, CEO of the Hungarian Investment Promotion agency and László György Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology gave an introduction to the Volvo delegation about the priorities of the Hungarian economic policy an about the recent developments of the automotive industry in Hungary.
